What Is Preservé?

Preservé is performed under local anaesthetic with sedation, so the patient remains awake and comfortable throughout a procedure lasting 30–45 minutes. Instead of cutting through breast tissue, a channel dissector creates space and a balloon gently displaces Cooper's ligaments, blood vessels, and nerves without severing them. The breast's internal support structure, its natural 'internal bra', is left intact.

Why Preservé Means a Quicker Recovery

Because tissue is preserved rather than divided, real outcomes data from over 150 Preservé cases at Dr Arnaout's practice show a markedly shorter early recovery than traditional breast augmentation: normal day-to-day activity resumes in 3–5 days, desk or office work in 5–7 days, light exercise at 14 days, and full exercise from 6 weeks.
